Welcome to the Career Journeying blog. I’m Jodi and I’m passionate about helping people thrive at work.

My own career journey has spanned 20 jobs over 28 years. Spoiler alert - it hasn’t been a ladder, it’s actually been more like a squiggle. And, I’ve learned that’s a good thing.

This blog shares my career story and some of the wisdom I’ve learned along the way. It also curates some of the people, ideas and resources that have inspired and helped me, in the hope that they’ll be helpful for you too.

Outside of amateur blogging, I’m a lifelong learner and lover of books, quotes and TED Talks. I’m a budding mountain biker (yet, awkwardly scared of heights), and I love camping on New Zealand’s beautiful coastline in our 1965 vintage caravan.

My husband Clayton and I live in Wellington - New Zealand’s capital city - with our two awesome teenagers.
